That important Day - ENSP

It was strange to have savory flavors out of the Chocolate lab in our pastry school. Chef thought he must be inside a McDonalds' Kitchen :P How about flavors of 5 countries in a single kitchen? Everyone had their Ratatouille moments in the multi-cultured-flavored kitchen. We were geared up to cook our country flavors for our D-Day. It is one of the ENSP ways to celebrate the graduation. You make one recipe from your country to add more flavor for the day. Back in my heart, I could start feeling heavy about leaving the Chocolate lab and after tomorrow, everyone is gonna call us ‘Alumni’ ,’ex-student’ of ENSP, Yssingeaux. Am I ready for my internship? May be not but am ready to push boundaries to reach my culinary dreams. I purposively left the toolkit in the kitchen to collect it later as today is his last day in the Pastry school.. Few stayed back in Yssingeaux during the last weekend to spend ‘that Yssingeaux time’. Amie and I took a walk to the popular cross in Yssingeaux. That place is one of the must-see places in Yssingeaux. We were well dressed for the Graduation day . Cant wait to pose pictures with the Diploma :D Still remember, telling my friends, “I don't think I am gonna cry” . It turns out  that I am one of the top 3 to cry.  More than the studies, school and the city gave me the time to rethink about future, goals, mistakes, lessons and more.

If not for Yssingeaux, I wouldn't have started writing a blog first of all. The Director told that our chef spoke only in our Graduation Ceremony. That feels proud. After a week, I am sitting down to write about the graduation and still feels heavy like the Graduation day. It is hard to live in the small city unless you are prepared for it considering the practical difficulties but when you look back , it feels proud to pulled it off after all.

I gave a bear hug to my Chef after receiving the Diploma and today the dream of being in a professional Kitchen is only possible with ENSP. The Director informed about an interview to someone about the educational experience and I know I can talk good English but this 5 months gave me the confidence to talk about the learning, the culinary future and so on..

One of my favorite chefs, wrote a note to me during our farewell “ Nothing is impossible”. With that as a reminder, I carried my toolkit out of the school Kitchen hoping to work in a professional Kitchen.
