For a South Indian Fix in Paris 

Jaw dropped by the beauty of Paris, my heart reminded me the googling of Indian places in Paris :P. Apre living for 3 months in France, the craving for South Indian food let me find the La Chapelle Area in France. Immersed in Srilankan and South Indian culture, the aromatic spices, incenses make your walk more memorable in La Chapelle. The Indian music felt nostalgic when I walked around the streets. You feel almost home there with people talking in Tamil and store names written in Tamil. Though you don’t have anyone to accompany the visit, you don’t feel alone there with so many colorful Indian stuff around.
Must see places:
1.       Manicka Vinayagar Temple - http://www.templeganesh.fr/
Once you get down at Gare du Nord, keep walking towards, La chapelle for 10 minutes J I saw a French bebe and her mom in the temple for the blessings J It is interesting to understand the cultural differences and yet a unity among us.

2.       Handi crafts Shop:
There is one shop that sells very good handicrafts including some musical instruments like Flute and the prices are reasonable from 10 euros. This is one of the good places for your petit Cadeau from India.

3.       Indian Mithai (Sweets):
Completely different from the French pastries and candies, Indian sweets does steal a little place in your heart if you have a sweet tooth. I bought Omapodi to eat with sambar and rice. The prices are very cheap and starts from 1 euro for 100gms of Omapodi.

4.       Corner kadai: https://plus.google.com/114580768940246184934/about?gl=in&hl=en- https://plus.google.com/.../about?gl=in&hl=en
This is a typical economical eat out and their vadas are very crispy on the surface and soft inside. I ate a dosa and sambar. And then a Vada. I also emporte a plate of Idiappam and Sombol. I made santhagai at home with that. The coconut chutney and sambar goes very well with the Dosa .

5.       Indian Grocery shopping:
You would love Paris more after buying some authentic South Indian Groceries, legumes and also it is very cheap compared to buying in a supermarket. You get asafetida, fenugreek seeds, pickles, papads, sambar powder, green chillies and what not. All said and done, you get to shop with people talking Tamil around :D My kitchen looks better now :P .

If you like India, this visit would definitely make you feel better. This place would definitely help if you want to take a trial visit to your future trip to India J  All said and done there is much more to explore in this place every time and I am very happy Paris makes everyone happy J
